I promised you fireworks didn't I!

I promised you fireworks and here they are!

Along with pictures of all the other Jenean Morrison dresses I made!
This Fireworks tunic is adorable the directions required a little improvisation :) but it turned out great I think lots of great detail with the neckline and hem!
This Mingle Sundress is one of my favorites!
I love the contrast and happy fabric! Isn't it pretty! It feels like summer to me!

This one I think is going to be a great anytime anywhere dress!
It's made out of Pop dots from the Picnic Parade line.

I love the little gathering at the neck and cuff! The ruffle and contrasting belt give a great accent! It makes this dress so fun and feminine!

It was great fun to play with this great fabric! I've got several more projects going with them and can't wait to post them! Which fabric is your favorite? I know I've got mine! With several runners up :) and it might change tomorrow... ahh heck I love them all! Great fabric Jenean! I can't wait for your next line!

( Psst! She's got a little preview up of California Dreamin on her site go check it out
and tell her I sent you! )

Happy Sewing!

Why are there teeth marks on my arm?

It's the grip of summer!
I swear!!! And a little school starting! LOL!
I've had to rip myself from it's jaws but it's ok, you can get excited now because today you get to see my first completed attempt at my own pattern!

Yay!! This is the full view of my "You Are What You Eat" quilt that I have hinted about before :) I know it's been a long time but it's so cute! I've really been enjoying this project! I'm now in the process of revising the directions and making another sample.
But I think we should all get to enjoy this! and I'm loving that you can see the 3D tail in this next shot!

This one is a close up of some stitching detail and my cute little giraffe's head :) He makes me smile :D big!

This has been so exciting, working on a project that I care so much about! Along with a major learning experience! And I'm still learning! I'm excited to be soon bringing this project to a close... if I can keep my nose out of to many swaps, other wips, and blog surfing, and other life events... HA! All I can say is I'll try :) and I can't wait to have my first patterns up and ready I've got about 5 in the works and ideas for more! Hurray!

How bout a little Snippets for your morning?

I've got a fabulous little thing going with some Snippets by American Jane

I love a work in progress!

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure how this is going to finish up. *blush* Do you ever do that? I've got the basic pattern worked out but I have lots of scraps left -

And I want it to be as large as possible, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to figure out a way to use all the little pieces to increase the size... hmm... we'll see!

I'm loving the polka dots in the fabric I've got the fabric all split into color groups mixed with all the polka dots! They're such happy colors!

The polka dots are going to be running trails through the quilt top though :) I'm so excited it should be pretty cute!

Sewing with Jenean!

Yeaaaah!!!!

I couldn't contain myself any longer! But now that that's out of the way sorry...
I know it's been a week and a half! I've been hit hard by summers last hurrah! You know all the things that "have" to be done before school starts again :)
Oh well :D I'm sewing again!

And not just any sewing.

Check out what came in the mail to me... oh... about a week and a half ago!

I'm sewing for Jenean Morrison!!

Not just with her fabric but for her!!! I'm so stoked! Thus the excited screaming you heard in my typing earlier :D

I'm not showing you the projects yet but I've already finished a couple of things :) and seriously I can't stop smiling about it!

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm working with fabric that looks like this!

I love them all though! I so excited about the projects I'm working on!
I'll be sharing more soon but for now I'll give you one more look at Jenean Morrison's so pretty fabrics!

Hehe! I was just looking at these and getting ready to comment on the fireworks fabric that I'm working with and realized it didn't make it into the pic! Oops!
It's a little busy right now becoming something beautiful!

So stay tuned there will be fireworks!
