Inspiration Overload!

If you ever find yourself lacking in inspiration you can go the easy route and start checking out flickr or cruise blogland and see the amazing things happening there and you will have inspiration in the matter of a few clicks but did you know there is inspiration lurking in your own home! Yes! All you have to do is clean off your sewing table!

Hehe! You may know what I mean... Amongst the odd papers and bags of rocks (yes really) on my sewing table I've remembered what I was doing with all those stacks of fabric!
 I had quite a few projects gathered under the trims of Halloween ribbon intended for quilts, changing pads, bags full of fabric bits, and some fabric still awaiting the right inspiration. It's all just lying there, ready to be adored! If only they could be seen.
So, if you really aren't feeling the sewing bug just go clean the sewing table and you'll find it... or it'll find you!

I love inspiration!

I follow a girl you may know, Nova from a cuppa and a catch up, and she just reminded me how much I love inspiration! Check out this inspiration trail!

It started here, with a wall hanging from liesl at disdressed...
It's gorgeous and understandably inspired the wonderful people at House on Hill Road
Then House on Hill Road created this one which inspired Nova...
Finally Nova from a cuppa and a catch up posted this inspiring set of blocks,
I love the little birdie in the tree and I have some of those bunnies in the star (random piece of fabric that just gathered it's self into my hands, during some random fabric shopping trip) that I have been trying to figure out what to do with! I love them.

In fact, I am inspired by all three blocks. What a fun trip I had following the trail, it's all about the joy of the hunt! The inspiration moment!

I think I'm gonna have to try something new!

Scout badges & curtains for a friend (I'm still working on mine :) )
Maybe a little more but with cleaning, and cooking, and kids... I'll be fightin' for it!
But fight, I will, because my brain is just bubbling with inspiration!
In fact, I finished a pattern write up yesterday, just looking to test & print! Yay!
It's amazing for a person to finish a project :) It inspires you!

So, what do Target, leaf swirls, Anna Maria Horner, and laundry have to do with eachother?
Not much I know :D but they're all part of the inspiration in my head!
